Important Information for Bidders
Posting of the notice for bids (“RFP” or Request for Proposals) on this site is provided for the convenience of all interested parties, and our firm’s desire to implement "green" technology wherever possible. Baleu, LLC acts on behalf of various Property or Home owner associations. Each RFP stands alone and is eventually let by the Board of the respective association. The fact that you apply for one does not automatically apply to another association, even for the same services. Conversely, if you are not awarded one bid we would encourage you to reapply as each association has slightly different factors they want us to pursue.
Bid Documents:
It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that the most complete and current version of the bid documents has been downloaded or otherwise obtained, including addenda. Do not use a prior bid sheet without closely comparing them as many times there are small changes made that can impact the bottom dollar. Incomplete bids will not be accepted.
Bidders are encouraged to make a physical inspection of the property to determine “common areas” and to error their bid on the side of providing service to any area in question. When possible, we will post any photos or plat maps that can assist you or in Baldwin County, you may go to the Baldwin County Judge of Probate website and look-up the POA/HOA by name and view or print the subdivision plat map(s). Use care to note that some subdivisions have more than one phase. Prospective bidders who do not have plotting or printing capability, should contact a local commercial printer or office copy shop (such as UPS Store, PostNet, Staples, Home Depot, etc.). The commercial printer can access the County web site and download the documents.
Vendor and Contractor Database
We do not maintain the staffing to routinely maintain a database of interested Contractors and vendors. We will post RFPs for jobs as they open but we cannot currently e-mail every vendor.
